Does the County Clerk's Office have information regarding tickets?
No, contact the agency (i.e. - Waco PD) that issued you the ticket or the Justice
of the Peace if DPS or Sheriff's Office issued ticket.
Does the County Clerk's Office have information regarding felonies?
No, contact the District Clerk's Office 254-757-5054.
Does the County Clerk's Office have information regarding Federal Court cases?

How do I obtain a statewide criminal background
search?
Contact DPS Crime Records Service at 512-424-5079 or visit
http://records.txdps.state.tx.us.
Does the County Clerk provide Criminal Searches?
Yes, but criminal names searches are
not done over the phone. Criminal name
searches only include McLennan County. Criminal searches are $5.00 per name. Criminal
search letters are $5.00. Copies are $1.00 per page. Certified Copies are an additional
$5.00 per case.
To request a criminal name search by mail include the following:
- Name and any identifiers (i.e. – DOB)
- Return Address to mail copies and phone number
for any questions
