The McLennan County Human Resources Department is located at 214 N. 4th St.,
(basement level) in the McLennan County Records Building. Office hours are 8:00
am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

McLennan County only accepts applications for currently posted full-time positions
and posted and/or vacant part-time positions. |

Some departments require current resumes. If a position requires college,
or if an applicant claims college, a copy of all college transcripts will be required.

McLennan County announces new job openings as they become vacant. Interested
applicants may check our website or call the job line at 254.757.5255 for current
job information. |

Job postings remain open for a minimum of five working days in order to give
all qualified applicants an opportunity to apply.

Positions that are carried over after five working days may be closed at any time. |

All applicants must complete a separate application for each position for
which they are applying. |

Applications must be filled out completely, signed, and returned to the Human
Resources Department by 5:00 pm on the closing date given for the position. |

Applications are sent to the department responsible for hiring. Qualified
applicants will be notified of a scheduled interview by the department responsible
for hiring. Not all applicants will be interviewed.

Applications are maintained in active files for a period of six months after being
submitted.
