star Employment Information 
* The McLennan County Human Resources Department is located at 214 N. 4th St., (basement level) in the McLennan County Records Building. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
* McLennan County only accepts applications for currently posted full-time positions and posted and/or vacant part-time positions.
* Some departments require current resumes. If a position requires college, or if an applicant claims college, a copy of all college transcripts will be required.
* McLennan County announces new job openings as they become vacant.  Interested applicants may check our website or call the job line at 254.757.5255 for current job information.
* Job postings remain open for a minimum of five working days in order to give all qualified applicants an opportunity to apply.
* Positions that are carried over after five working days may be closed at any time.
* All applicants must complete a separate application for each position for which they are applying.
* Applications must be filled out completely, signed, and returned to the Human Resources Department by 5:00 pm on the closing date given for the position.
* Applications are sent to the department responsible for hiring. Qualified applicants will be notified of a scheduled interview by the department responsible for hiring. Not all applicants will be interviewed.
* Applications are maintained in active files for a period of six months after being submitted.
