McLennan County Maintenance of Buildings (MOB) is dedicated to keeping the facilities operational for the day to day activities and to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors. MOB maintains 23 different facilities that total about 1 million square feet of space. Our buildings range from correctional facilities to the court house and even the parks at Trading House Lake. MOB is always looking to adapt and change to meet the needs of the facilities and occupants.
Facilities General Duties:
- Developing and managing facility operating budget
- Overseeing and coordinating facility projects
- Interior and exterior facility maintenance
- HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Maintenance of facilities grounds
- Cleaning of facilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of the parks at Trading House Lake
