The Conflicts Disclosure Statement bill, requires local government officers and employees to file a conflict disclosure statement regarding a person who is seeking to contract with the governmental entity.
A person who wishes to conduct business with the County, must file a Questionnaire with the Purchasing Department, no later than seven (7) days after the date the person begins contract discussions or negotiations with the County.
Businesses that contract with or seek to contract with the County, whether they are successful or not, for the sale, purchase of property, goods, individuals or businesses in their dealings with the County, must file a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, with the McLennan County Purchasing Department.
