The County Criminal Courts handle A and B misdemeanors for McLennan County. Class C misdemeanors are only handled if the case has been appealed from a lower court. Contact the agency (i.e. – Waco Police Department) that issued you the ticket/citation or the Justice of the Peace if Department of Public Safety or Sheriff’s Office issued the ticket/citation. Felonies are handled in the District Clerk’s Office, they can be reached at 254-757-5054. For information on Federal court cases contact the U.S. District Court at 254-750-1501.
